Join us as local businesses\, organizations\, schools\, churches\, and families display their creative skills in a community-wide snowman-building competition. And don’t worry—snow is not required! Crafted from weather-resistant materials\, the snowmen will stand proudly\, defying the elements. \nThis year’s festivities kick off on Friday\, December 5th\, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calhoun Recreation Department – 110 Recreation Drive\, with our family-friendly Launch Party filled with activities for all ages.  Bring the whole family for a magical evening featuring delicious food trucks\, train rides\, whimsical “snow”\, crafts\, and a visit to Santa’s Workshop. \nBut the celebration doesn’t end there!  From December 5th through the 14th\, the amazing snowman creations will be displayed at the Calhoun Recreation Department along the paved path that connects the Black & Yellow playground and the large parking lot. We encourage everyone to stop by and vote for their favorite. Prizes await the People’s Choice and Judge’s Favorite award winners. \nDo you want to build a snowman?  To participate\, be sure to pre-register.
