DESCRIPTION:Adult Basket Making Class \nSaturday\, Jun 24\, 2023 9 AM to 4 PM \nJoin professional educator and primitive skill demonstrator Andrew Lee for a hands on\, outdoor class\, and learn how to craft your own traditional bark basket! The class runs from 9:00 AM until 4:00pm\, and includes break for lunch (not provided). Spots are very limited\, so you must preregister with admission ahead of time by calling the office. $50 per person.

DESCRIPTION:The Harris Arts Center\, Downtown Development Authority and the Gordon County CVB announce a new summer concert series “Between the Streets\, Music & Eats”. Concerts\, food trucks and family activities will be offered in Downtown City Park three times this summer. Admission to these events are free and individuals are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets. \n\nDates and entertainment include June 16 with White Water Junction and Faye Pierce Bentley opening\, July 21 with The X Band and Andrew Miles opening and September 21 with Curiosity Shop. Each event will be held from 6-9p.m.\n\n\nThese events are sponsored by the Calhoun-Gordon Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia.
